    Windows 10 - windows pop out


    This is hard to explain, but I got a new laptop at work today and it’s using windows 10 enterprise and when you open a window like one in the task bar it kind of pops out or flashes like when Facebook used to have those pop out statuses that are really disruptive to people With neurological conditions and I’m wondering if anyone knows what setting that would be where it kind of pops out or flashes out when you open a window. My other laptop from work does not do this. Thanks And bonus points if anyone knows what I’m talking about!

    Windows 10 Tweaks

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
