Windows 10 - Windows Store/Website Not Showing Owned Apps Performed Recommended Fixes

    Problem:

I have recently tried accessing all of the owned apps, movies, media, etc. that I have been getting from the Windows Store and www.microsoft.com. I have purchased a few items, installed free apps and uninstalled some of them, and fairly often have found find temporary freebies to own. I can no longer find the vast majority of these items within the Windows Store or microsoft.com.

    Attempts to Fix:

Before getting into details I want to share that I have done.documented the following in an effort of finding answers and saving your time:

    1. Ran the Windows Store App troubleshooter with nothing to report. See A. WIndows Store Troubleshooter Report Details for output.

    2. Reset the store cache by running wsreset.exe as a administrator.

    3. Reinstalled & re-registered the Microsoft Store using command prompt and then powershell.

    4. I verified that I am logged into the same account for Windows 10, Windows Store, and www.microsoft.com.

    5. I am able to view updates through the store, so my pc is able to communicate with at least some of the appropriate servers.

    6. I did NOT "Reset the PC" from windows update because of the amount of programs and apps that would get removed despite choosing the "keep my files option".

    Summary

Alongside knowing I have a large amount of apps and other forms of media from the Windows Store and Microsoft Store under the same account, I do not see a method of viewing all owned content from either location. I believe the images below document the issue clearly. I have attempted every fix but a full blow reset. Any help is greatly appreciated.

As you may already know, Windows 10 (as well as Windows 8) allow you to log in with a valid Microsoft account, instead of creating a local account that only works on your machine. However, you may prefer to keep a local account for privacy reasons. If you do, though, some Windows 10 features—like Cortana—may not work. Despite the default behavior, the Windows 10 Store is not one of them. You can still log in to your Microsoft account for just the Store without switching to a full Microsoft account. The process, however, is not terribly obvious. To do so, follow these steps:

    • Launch the Store from your Start menu.
    • Click the user icon next to the search box.
    • Click “Sign-in” from the menu that appears.
    • Choose “Microsoft account” and log in like normal.
    • When the “Make it yours” box appears do not enter your password. Instead, click “Sign in to just this app instead.”

I think I'll put a list of people's favourite apps in the OP, starting with my own until I get some suggestions, but you can take a look at the Windows Phone app store at the top apps to see what's popular http://www.windowsphone.com/en-us/store
