Windows 10: Windows 10 - Windows System Image Recovery will not complete a system restore!

I have a 256GB SSD running Windows 10 on my HP Laptop I created a System Image with Windows system image tool. I created a bootable system USB, I don't have a diskette and or a CD Drive so thumb drive is my only choice I removed the original 256GB SSD and installed a 512GB SSD the system recognizes&nb

I just tested Windows image back up in windows 10. They put the system imaging back into Windows after taking it out in Windows 8. Last month after I did a clean install I made an Image.
Its a little hidden. After creating an image. To restore:
Settings/update and security/recovery/restart now/advance/use image

It literally took 10 minutes to restore my system

To make an Image just use Backup and restore in the control panel it says (Windows 7)

When we create system image, by default, a system image includes the drives required for Windows to run. It also includes Windows and your system settings, programs, and files. You can use a system image to restore the contents of your computer
if your hard disk or computer ever stops working.

In Windows 10 We have an option to select other drives while creating System Image backup. If you have selected other drives too when creating System Image backup it will affect those drives too.

I suggest you to create a system image and check.

To create system image on Windows 10 follow the below methods.

• 
  Type File history in the search area on the taskbar and select File history.
  
• 
  Click on System image backup on the left bottom corner of the Window file history Window.
  
• 
  Click on Create System Image on the left panel of the System Image backup windows.
  
• 
  Select the driver, where you want to Create system Image.
  
• 
  Follow on screen instruction.
