All on esxi. How do i make this better? It's so so so slow. It's unusable aside from having to tough it out and just suffer if i need something that will only work on windows. I have had a very bad experience with this operating system, even on the laptop im tying this on right now. Figured id give it an overload of resources and it would work better and i could eventually flash this laptop to something else and run windows as a virt when i needed, it which is often. So what's up? I can't downgrade to 7 for security issues and every other version has been awful. I am starting to think this product is pure trash. Am i doing something wrong?

  2. System and Compressed Memory Service High CPU Usage

I have 6 gigs of video memory and have 32 gigs of RAM. I don't have to run anything for my cpu to have high usage. Performance is staggeringly slow. I'll just wait till they have it all worked out before taking the leap back to Win 10.

System and compressed memory eating CPU cycles

As the title says, there is this thing called "System and compressed memory" which is just eating my CPU alive. It usually stays at around 5~6%, then alt-tab and it goes to 10~15%, and just goes bouncing all over the place (and it seems that using the computer
    just makes it worse).

    So I have 2 questions:

    • What is it ACTUALLY doing to require so much processing power?
    • How do I get rid of it for good? Task manager told me the "ntoskrnl" file is the orign of the process, and I'm almost to the point og deleting it to see if solves the issue, regardless of it breaking my OS....
I've already tried a few solutions online, such as disabling the page file or "updating drivers" to no success.....

    INCORRECT CPU FREQUENCY READING

    Hello Muhammad,

CPU usage depends on the applications that are open to your device. To isolate the problem, we suggest that you answer the following questions:

    • Can you include a screenshot of the CPU reading?
    • Have you tried performing a
      clean boot
      to eliminate software conflicts?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

    Looking forward to your response.
