Windows 10: Windows 10 with random BSODs when idle

I've researched. I've replaced almost every component of my PC since this started. I've reinstalled the bare minimum software all from scratch. Nothing is resolving the issue.


My PC will give a random BSOD error (it changes constantly, not always the same error) ANY time it's idle. I have all of the power settings set to not go to sleep or hibernate or even turn on the screen saver so I can try to catch what's happening without any luck. It never happens when I'm active on the PC, but a few minutes after I walk away.....boom. Ugh. I've gone through all of the tips, changing page file settings, scanned, updated drivers, replaced components, everything. At this point, the only things left to replace are the case, motherboard, and CPU. I think this is all of them. I got annoyed with the constant BSODs so I started taking photos of them to keep track of the different ones.

BitDefender is nothing special. mwac.sys causes BSODs anywhere.

In that very thread, the suggested action apparently worked.

The storage and network filters of any third party antivirus can cause BSODs. Neither MBAM nor BitDefender is any special. For a regular antivirus, it may be shifted to an alternative; but MBAM has no alternative. So a clean install of the said program is the most feasible first step.
As far as the first step is not failing, it is better to not think for the second step. Because the BSODs are not universal, failure at the first step is not universal; and success at the second step is also not universal.
That is why I posted that my suggestion may work, or may not. Let us see where it goes.

 

11 BSODs in 3 months with Windows 10

The BSODs have been random. Some have occurred while the laptop was idle, others during various operations. HP did not list chipset driver updates for windows 10. I installed the latest drivers listed for Windows 7. I have had two more BSODs:

Driver overran stack buffer and Unexpected kernel mode trap. I added the two minidumps for 1/27/2016
