Windows 10: Windows 10 Won't Activate even though I Bought It

8 years ago I bought a PC with Windows 7 Installed in it and it gave me 0 problems. After changing almost every single component of the pc and surviving a lot of virus because of some downloads I did when I was 12, now I'm at Windows 10, but it says I have to activate it, I have the key of my Windows, but then it doesn't let me activate it.

The Error is 0xc004f074.

You probably have read a lot of people having this problem but I have seen 10 different videos with 10 different ways of making Windows work. I've read that you had to do some things with cmd and I've tried a lot and it keeps saying that I have that error.

I called Windows support and the only thing they told me is to talk with the person who sold me the pc. But I don't even know what that means, like talking to that person after 8 years will solve anything.

I do not know how to activate my LEGAL copy of Windows and it's frustrating.

Does anybody know what to do in my case?

Should I format my pc or would that not solve anything in this case?

Do I have to buy another license?

Do I have to delete windows and reinstalling it?

Does my pc have a virus of some sort?

cortana won`t talk to me

I appreciate if you could answer few questions to narrow down the issue and to provide you better assistance.

• Check and verify if Cortana is activated?
• Does Cortana search and gives any output/result on screen?
• Is the Language and region settings set to valid value?
• Check and verify if Cortana available in your region?

Method 1:

I suggest you to try to turn Cortana off and then try turning it on back and check if she talks. Refer to the steps below to turn Off and On Cortana:

• Open Cortana.
• Click the hamburger button in the top left of the window.
• Go to Settings and click on off.
• Follow the same steps to turn it on.
• Check if issue persists.

Step 1: Run Windows app troubleshooter.

Step 2: Run shell commands for Windows store and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

• 
  Press Windows key + X and select
  Command prompt(Admin) to open elevated Command prompt.

  powershell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $Env:SystemRoot\WinStore\AppxManifest.xml
  
• 
  Hit enter, the blackscreen will appear still for a couple of seconds. After a couple of second a new line saying C:\.... will appear.
  
• 
  Close Command Prompt.
  
• 
  Try to start the Windows Store again.
