Windows 10: Windows 10 Won't Allow Download of Amazon Prime App It directs me to a dead link

On Amazon, I purchased a movie. I clicked the option to download. It directed me to the Microsoft Store. There I attempted to download the Amazon Prime Video app. When I click on join, it took me to the Microsoft Install/Dev site. The app clearly states that it is compatible/meant for windows/PC. But the app directs me to Windows Dev page. Can someone help me please.

Windows 10 Won't Allow Download of Amazon Prime App

I just switched to a Windows 10 tablet from an iPad. I was trying to get all my normal travel apps and when I tried to download the "Amazon Prime Video US" app and it says it can't be installed on the device. I thought it might be an Amazon problem and contacted
Amazon, but they say that Microsoft is the one who won't let users install the Amazon Prime app on Windows 10 machines.

Is this true and if not, has anyone had any luck installing the Amazon Prime app on a Windows 10 tablet or laptop?

 

Amazon Prime Music App

I went to Amazon on my browser and found a new Amazon Prime music app in the Prime section. So far seems to work. Tried from both Windows and Amazon app stores without success. If anyone else has this problem, go to Amazon.com, log into Prime, and the
app link is there.
