Windows 10: Windows 10 - Won't connect to Wifi, error says its insecure but it's WPA2/PSKAES

Hi,


I've got an older laptop that is having Wifi issues.

It repeatedly kicks my son off saying that the network is insecure - but it's set on WPA2/PSKAES.


I've tried:

• Rebooting the laptop & Router
• Checking the router settings
• Resetting the Network adapter
• Updating the Network adapter drivers
• Uninstalling the network adapter
• Setting 802.11d to disabled there doesn't appear to be an option to disable 802.11n
• Crying a little bit I don't think that really helped with the wifi, but it helped me some

The adapter seems to have 802.11b/g/n


As the laptops being used by my kid, it's not really a solution to get him to log into the Command prompt to flush any network settings.

If anyone has any help/advice I'd be really grateful.

WiFi WPA2 personal connection

I heard on the news today that WiFi WPA2-personal connections are being hacked and they are taking private information. Even if the connection is secure.

Can I change the WPA2 without going through my ISP? And how can I do this?

I use FIREFOX but I checked Internet Explorer because FF wasn't listed. And also internet connection wasn't there.

WIFI WPA2 password

step 2: If you haven't connected to the current wifi and you have forgotten the WPA2 password, you should press the reset button on the router for a few seconds, when you have saw the LED shining, release the reset button, at this time, the wifi password
will entirely be reseted, so you can use the default wifi password or connect directly, then following the step 1 to operate.
