Windows 10: Windows 10 won't do a restart

Discus and support Windows 10 won't do a restart in Windows 10 Support to solve the problem; This did not work either for me. At the end of the day: me either. Seemed to work for a bit but... no.     Guys, if the other solutions don't work, try this. Disable Superfetch service, worked for me.

    Thanks for the suggetion but it did not work for me...
    I have had this restart issue right from when I upgraded to 1607 and it still persists with 1703.
    I just live with it:///

    Windows 10 won't do a restart

    Came here to say this worked for me. After weeks of trying and waiting hours to see if Windows will be smart enough to bypass it by itself, I got fed up because it keeps nagging me to update. It's unbelievable that these stupid problems still exists.
