Windows 10: Windows 10 won't go to sleep mode Laptop model: Asus x507UF and OS is windows 10

Windows 10 won't go to sleep mode. Yesterday, once I restart my pc forcely because it was hung due to install a third-party application. Then I restart the pc to recover from the hang. After that I update the windows from "windows update and security" but in the middle of the update it requires 'restart' but when I give the command to restart then the pc screen stacked in the "Restarting", then I pressed "windows key + x + power button" and able to open the pc, then I finished the update and restart again without any problem. But after that the pc won't go to sleep mode, after 10 sec I pressed the 'sleep' it woke up on its own without any interaction with the user.


Note: I faced the sleep mode problem 3/4 months ago also, but after 10/15 days later from the problem arise my windows requires an update, I updated it and noticed that bios also updated automatically with windows. After that update, the sleep mode problem was solved automatically.


But this time I exactly don't know what to do?

Problem: about 80% of the time, my laptop won't wake up from sleep mode via keyboard press or mouse move/click. I seem to be missing many common features in power plan too, even after fresh Windows 10 install.

Troubleshooting Steps:

1. Reinstalled Windows 10 (clean)
2. Updated all drivers
3. Replicated on multiple Windows 10 versions, updates
4. BIOS latest version
5. No USB devices attached, ever. Only USB-C power and bluetooth mouse
6. Disabled "fast startup" in control panel
