Windows 10: Windows 10 won't read my seagate HDD

Hi everyone! I need help on retrieving my files from my seagate HDD. I was able to open it yesterday after my laptop updated windows. However, when I started opening folders it suddenly showed IO error then turned to local disk G. Now, I can't open it anymore. I have tried the disk management and this is how it looks like. Please help.

Seagate Freeagent HDD

I have a Seagate Freeagent Desktop HDD that is not being picked up by Windows 10.

I have been on to the internet several times looking up options to get over this problem but, as of now, none of these options work.

I have bee to the Seagate website but again I have not made any progress. One of the options was to uninstall the driver and then reinstall it but this is a problem in itself as my pc isn't even picking up the drive and therefore not only doesn't it work
but it cannot even be seen and is not listed in the drives.

Does anyone know if there have been any recent solutions produced for this problem.

 

my n97 won t charge or connect

when i put a usb on my n97 it won t charge when i put on the computer it won t say nokia pc suite or else it not reading the usb cannot work on my phone plz hel

 

Slow HDD read and write speeds

We will require a few more information from you to help you further with the issue. Please reply with the following details:

• In which device are you facing this issue?
  
• Are you using an external HDD or internal HDD?
  
• Are you getting the read and write speed issue on any particular application?
  

However, you can Disk Defragment on your computer to optimize the drive. To run Disk Defragment please follow the steps from the article

Defragment your Windows 10 PC.

Alternatively, you can check for the read and write speed of the HDD in task manager. Please follow the steps mentioned below to check the read and write speed of the hard drive:

1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc key together on the keyboard.
   
2. Click on Performance tab.
   
3. Click on Disk 0.
   
4. You will find the Read speed and
   Write speed at the bottom of the window.
