Windows 10: Windows 10 won't recognize Internet after update, but I am connected Internet works fine in...

I feel like I've tried everything and this is becoming very frustrating. After this fresh install of Windows 10, everything was working fine until the final update. Now, it won't recognize that I'm connected to the Internet via Ethernet cable EVEN though the Internet works fine. But I can't use it for certain things, such as Windows updates, because it says I'm not connected. I've seen this is a common issue but nothing I've searched online has solved it for me.


I've tried resetting IP settings, resetting network settings, and using the "Troubleshoot" button in settings, which seems to just do nothing infinitely sits on "starting network diagnostics". What can I do? I still have the globe with no connection icon in the taskbar... Even though, as I'm typing this, I'm in Google Chrome and Internet is working 100% fine.


Btw, I do not have WiFi, so I just need Windows 10 to recognize the fact that I'm connected to a wired Ethernet connection that's working fine.

After updating to Windows 10 (1909) I cannot use Windows update.

Internet connection works fine, but when I check for updates, I get the following error message:

We couldn't connect to the update service. We'll try again later, or you can check now. If it still doesn't work, make sure you're connected to the Internet.
I tried a lot of different solutions that are available on the internet, including:

• use the windows update troubleshooter
• reset windows update services
• do a clean restart
• and more.

Did anyone figure out this one?

Microsoft Internet Explorer renamed to Windows Internet Explorer ?




Since version 7 of the world`s most popular web browser - Microsoft Internet Explorer was silently renamed to Windows Internet Explorer.Such a step from Microsoft is not a surprise since Internet Explorer is part of the Windows operation system for a long time.Obviously Microsoft corp. wants to state that Internet Explorer is already considered as a part of Windows and not as an external browser (remember the IE and WMP law issues last year!?).
