Windows 10: Windows 10 won't recognize new Secondary Hard Drive and other issues with installing drive...

I just got a replacement 2tb drive to replace one that went bad as my motherboard was having issues and I think it fried the old drive , , I have since replaced the board with a newer version , and just today got the new 3-1/2" drive , I will be using it like my other secondary drive as storage , etc... so the SSD with Win 10 is one drive , a2tb 3-1/2" SATA drive is for "Programs" only games , etc , that will never all fit on the 250gb SSD and this new 2tb 3-1/2" SATA drive for "My Documents" ............. After installing , when I go to "My PC" , it only shows my C SSD and my P

Windows 10 1909 Causes Secondary Hard Drive to not be Recognized

Installing the Windows 10 1909 Update causes my secondary hard drive to not be recognized.

Steps to confirm issue:

• Secondary drive not visible in Windows Explorer
• Secondary drive not visible in device manager
• Secondary drive not visible in disk manager

Steps to replicate issue:

• Installing 1909 update

Steps to resolve issue:

• Uninstall 1909 update

Since updates can only be delayed for so long, an actual fix would be appreciated.

I recently partitioned a 1 T hard drive on a new PC and now Windows 10 won't recognize a new 2 T Seagate portable hard drive that it recognized before. Is the partition the problem? Is there a way to make W 10 recognize the portable?
