    Windows 10, won't restart, hangs up 2-3 times on hard-power-down


    So my Windows 10 updated to current latest-release 22H2 with an IntelR Core i7-8700K CPU @3.7Ghz and 32Gb of I believe DDR4 RAM is hanging up when I try to restart due to some crazy crud going on in Chrome, which problem is probably alphabet-centric, but this hanging up instead of re-booting thing, it's Odious, and I doubt the Chrome thing could spread tendrils of hated incompetence that far into the system naive, maybe?,.to Get Windows to Finally get past the splash screen, took 2 hard-power-down shutoffs, this can't be normal duh

    Windows Update suddenly hangs?

    Windows Update is suddenly hanging for some reason... I went and downloaded and installed the first bunch of updates, restarted when asked, and now when I go back to windows update I just get the window with a white box forever. Reboot and it still does it. This happens to be on my main machine, running windows 7.

    I've also noticed when I reboot it says configuring windows update, step 3 of 3, 47%. Maybe it somehow skipped something and is screwed forever?
