Windows 10: Windows 10 won't shutdown and restarts with stop code: DRIVER POWER STATE FAILURE

Hi, Can somebody help me with my problem. I upgraded my laptop to a SSD boot drive which was cloned from an HDD. Now my Laptop won't shutdown. It shows a blue screen and shows a stop code: DRIVER POWER STATE FAILURE and restarts. My Laptop is an ASUS K55VD.

I made an another clean install of windows 10, disabled everything, didn`t install any update or any device. Started shutting down pc for testing.

First 7 times it shutdown perfectly under 10 seconds, then I tried restart, then shutdown again, shutdown time increased to 3-5 minutes. But no error was given, no power drive state failure.

After that, I installed windows update, now I'm getting Power drive state failure error, and I found the minidump, here is the link;

Laptop won`t shutdown, Driver Power State Failure WIN10

Hello,

I`ve got an Asus G75VW Laptop, been using for 3 years without problems. Laptop still runs fine, everything is alright except for powering down.

When I try to shut down, it powers down everything, screen goes black but power lights doesn't go off and I can hear the fan. So the laptop does not fully shut down. After a while(3-5minutes), it gives a blue screen saying `Driver Power State Failure`
and it restarts itself.

1 out of 10 times it may shutdown normally.

Here`s what I did so far;

Updated everything with windows update, Driver Booster, Driverpack.

I checked for viruses with Avast and Malwarebytes,

Cleaned registry,

Turned off fast start up,

Uninstalled USB devices and intel engine management,

Installed different versions of Intel Management Engine,

Verified driver signatures,

Restored BIOS default settings (there is no new BIOS update)

Ran SFC scan,

Readjusted ram slots (Tried shutting down with each ram),

Tried windows repair; windows couldn`t repair itself,

There is no unrecognized device in device manager except for Monitor when booted in safe mod.

Refreshed windows

Clean installed windows 10



P.S: When laptop booted in safe mode, there is no problem with shutdown.

What could be the issue?

When I was installing windows, it needed to restart itself at some point, but laptop was unable to shutdown again so i had to manually shutdown and continue installation.

Can this be related with the issue;

I will do a memtest and report the results.

Meanwhile, could you read the minidmp? I think we can find what prevents laptop from shutting down and gives power drive state failure there. I believe one of the devices is malfunctioning and preventing pc from shutting down.
