Windows 10: Windows 10 won't start up properly after repairing disc error

Yesterday, I turn on my laptop as usual and it went on to diagnosing my pc and later repairing disk errors so I let it do that for a while. After that, my laptop just loads forever at the ASUS logo and so on, even when I manage to enter my pin and log in, my cursor is still spinning and I couldn't actually open any applications or files.

I have tried hard restart and automatic repair but it says windows could not repair start up disc error. Opening it in safe mode does not work either as the cursor is still spinning and I could not perform any actions.

Please help! I have a lot of backups and files in my laptop and would not like to lose them.

Windows 10 won´t start any program as Administrator

Hello. I´m having this issue since installed one of the latest Windows 10 system updates.

When I try to open any program that requires Administrator confirmation (that screen with the Yes/No question), this dialog won´t appear anymore. The screen background stays darkened and nothing happens.

1. Using Windows 10 Home (x64)
2. My microsoft user account is properly checked
3. I´m the administrator of the PC
4. Already tried do create another administrator user account - same problem, no success
5. Cannot start any program/service that requires administrator authorization (not even regedit)

Please help!

HELP! windows won't start

Thanks - i some how managed to get system repair to work. Restored a few times and the latest seems to be a success.

Any suggestions for freeware that does a good job in fixing up registry errors?
