Windows 10: Windows 10 won't update error code 0xc0000005

I have tried numerous times to update my Windows 10. It will download and start installing the update. But once the install gets to about 80% it stops and gives me an error saying "Something went wrong". And give this error code: 0xc0000005. I have searched this error code on Microsoft support, but nothing comes up related to updating Windows 10. Windows 10, 2004 update fails on appraiser.dll with error code 0xC0000005

I tried to install Windows 2004, and I get the error code 0xC0000005. Looking at the logs from the installation in the Panther directory, I see the following:

Exception (code 0xC0000005: ACCESS_VIOLATION) occurred at 0x00007FFEA182D8C1 in C:\$WINDOWS.~BT\Sources\appraiser.dll

I was able to read the dump file for this error, and I see the check failing on this step:
