Windows 10: Windows 10 Workgroups

I have two home computers, both of which are members of a home workgroup. Both have Windows 10 Pro installed and activated, and both apparently have the latest updates. Computer A has version 1909, build 18363.476. Computer B has version 1909, build 18362.476. Computer B has some mapped network drives for Computer A. Both are connected via Ethernet through a router connected to my ISP's modem. I want to map some drives on Computer B as network drives on Computer A. The previously-mapped drives of Computer A show up fine on Computer B. But Computer A does not "see" Computer B, nor any of its drives. If I look at the "Network" option of File Explorer, Computer A does not show up on Computer B, nor does Computer B show up on Computer A. How do I get the two computers to "see" each other? Obviously, at one time, Computer B "saw" computer A in order to map the drives. But it "sees" it no longer.

Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

In Windows 10 Home - why would you disable the ability to change the default workgroup name from "workgroup" to something else?

• How are you trying to change the work group name?

Have you tried as below steps if not I suggest you to follow as below and check if it helps.

• Press “Windows+X”.
• Click on “system”.
• Then under “computer name, domain and workgroup settings” option.
• Click on change “settings” on the right hand side.
• Click on “computer name” tab.
• Under the option “to rename this computer and change its domain or workgroup, click change”
  click on “change option”.
• Under “computer name tab” enter the computer name accordingly and click on
  “ok”.

  Press Windows+ X, select
  System.
  
• 
  Click on Advanced System settings.
  
• 
  Under Computer Name tab click on
  change.
  
• 
  Under “Member Of” change the Workgroup name
  
• 
  Then click on OK, then when prompted
  reboot your device.
