    Windows 10 Xbox Game Bar: Recorded Audio Stutters


    Hello, every recording I make with the game bar has stuttering audio, especially at the beginning and end of the recording. This wasn't the case many years ago 2, I think. The video doesn't stutter, fortunately. I appreciate the development of the product over the years in increasing performance, but the audio recording of the game bar is no longer reliable. Is there a way to fix the recorded audio?

    I understand that you are facing issues while recording microphone audio using game bar while playing games.



    I would suggest you to try troubleshooting Game Bar and see if that helps. Refer the article

    In addition, you can also check if the Microphone for game bar is enabled under privacy settings.



    1. Go to Settings (press Windows +
      I key together) > Privacy.
    2. On the left hand pane scroll down and look for
      Microphone      .
    3. Toggle Allow apps to access Microphone
      to ON.
    4. Under Choose which Microsoft Store app can access your Microphone toggle Xbox game bar to
      ON.
    5. Restart the game bar.

    Game stutters when NOT recording with Xbox app

    when I play League of Legends, the game stutters every other seconds, but the FPS shown in the game is normal at 60.

    I have tried disabling Xbox Game DVR but the problem still persisted.

    It only stops stuttering when I start recording the game via Xbox app.

    Does anyone else have this problem or has any suggestions to solving this problem?
