Windows 10: Windows 10 - Zoom Text Keyboard acting funny

HiI have a friend who has 96% Vision loss so he uses a special software called Zoom Text which also comes with a Zoom Text Keyboard.Everything was working fine until his last Windows Update. All of a sudden he has to DOUBLE TAP keys to get them to either go upper case or back to lower case letters. Things Done: but most important I am not physically at his computer I do all repair work through Team Viewer. I have checked updates, All Up To DateRan Trouble shooter, it found nothing. Tried updating Driver: It Found Best Driver Installed. Had him Check USB Plug, I had him unplug wait a few min

Windows 10 upgrade not compatible with Zoom Text Maginfier/Reader 10.1

Hi Andie,

To know if the Zoom Text will ever be compatible with Windows 10, you will have to get in touch with the developers of Zoom text.

If you do not want to upgrade or don't wish the notification for the upgrade then follow the steps :

• Launch Control Panel
• Click on Programs > Programs and Features
• Left side of the screen hit the “View installed updates” section.
• Look for KB3035583 in the list
• Right-click it and hit the remove option.

 

Badly zoomed in on all Office products and Explorer

• If you have a mouse with a wheel, hold down the Ctrl key, and then scroll the wheel to zoom in or out.
• From the keyboard, you can increase or decrease the zoom value in 10% increments. To zoom in, press Ctrl + (+). To zoom out, press Ctrl + (-). To restore the zoom to 100%, press Ctrl+0.
