Alright so this is hard to explain.

I decided to upgrade my laptop to windows 10(i havent used this laptop in a while so it was quite slow to begin with)

The upgrade to windows 10, however, didnt go so smoothly. It said it would restart various times which is fine.

Now would be a good time to mention that i dont have a screen. I have to plug my pc into a tv via hdmi. So now(after trying to update to windows 10) the bottom part of my screen/the only part that works is changing from light blue(like an update screen) to black(??) and then turning fully off. Occassionally, it will show my home screen where it’ll either freeze or go back to one of the other three screens.

Nothings showing up through hdmi and if theres an error message, obviously i cannot see it.

    Help

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

Unlocked Realtek HD Audio Drivers Windows 7 & 8 (With Dolby Digital Live and DTS Interactive)

DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .
