Windows 10 has ruined my computer. I used to have Win 8.1 which worked wonderfully. As best I can tell, Win10 uses most of my memory for graphics. Why can't I go back to Win8.1. Why does MS make me use a bad OS?

Win10 took away the functional photo viewer and gave me Photos instead, which is a memory hog with less editing features. Now my SD card reader stopped working after one of the updates.

My computer has slowed to the point that it barely works and Win10 keeps making it worse with each update.

Is there a way to go back to an earlier version of Windows?

    :)

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .
