    Hello.

I have been noticing an issue at least, I _think_ it's an issue / bug in Windows File Explorer recently and it's irritating. I'd like to see if this is intentional or if something got set wacky on my end.

When I use File Explorer, I may change the sort order of the area that I'm currently in, depending on what I am doing and what I need to see. I click on whatever column header I need to sort by. It used to be that all folders would stay at the top of the list no matter how the 'sort order' was set.

However, recently the sorts have been moving the folders to the bottom of the list, and that is irritating as I want them to stay at the top of the list but be sorted by the requested 'sort' function.

Is this something that was requested as a change, or a change that was put into effect without feedback from Insiders? Or is this something that my system is doing wrong and that I need to research? where would I look?

I don't want folders to move from top to bottom, I want them to stay at the top and sort 'separately' meaning, sort by Name, Date, etc.. I am usually either looking at files and need them at the bottom, or looking at folders and need them at the top.

    Thank you.

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .
