i have an MSI gaming laptop with 16gb ram, 1tb HDD and 128gb SSD, my boot/shutdown/restart used to take about 10 seconds max and suddenly this year it started to perform all these 3 actions slower and now takes 40-50 seconds BOOT instead of 8-10 seconds, so i installed an extra 1tb SSD and made it my booting drive and yet it still is the same, i tried almost every instructions given on this website through the questions asked by other users, reset my windows, followed all the possible answers to it and my boot/shutdown/restart is still so slow, the shutdown itself takes more than 40 seconds, i also updated my drivers through a link provided by one of you but no results, followed allllll the youtube videos, google tutorials, microsoft website answers and its still the same, is there anything i can do? maybe it was some windows update that caused this issue? Please help.

Also, i have done all the cmd commands as well for example scannow, chkdsk C:/F and much more but nothing seems to work, im not a tech person so please guide me through some new steps that i can follow in order to fix them.

    Thanks

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

Unlocked Realtek HD Audio Drivers Windows 7 & 8 (With Dolby Digital Live and DTS Interactive)

DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .
