    Hello windows community,
I am an everyday windows 10 user. So basically windows is pretty good at basic form, but going into long resource taking tasks..... then not so much. I mean windows takes up so much resources of the machine that windows is running on, that it leaves very little amount of resources for the end user. I mean I have a pretty decent pc with 8 gigabytes of ram 7.79 GB usable, 8 core processor and a Nvidia geforce graphics card all packed up with intel's i7 1065G7 CPU. Seems pretty decent, right ? Well... windows doesn't let it stay decent. Since it's such a heavy operating system. Windows starts up with almost 4.5 gigabytes of ram. That's more than half of my total ram. Then it continues to fill up ram with its background processes and telemetry and other stuff, so the result..... it pretty much fills up 5.5-6 gigabytes ram while in idle state. So as a result while trying to make the end user's experience better, windows makes it worse. As an example, I was playing minecraft, and after I played about 10 minutes, the FPS started to drop. At a time it was so low 3 FPS the I couldn't even move my cursor right. Windows was extremely unresponsive. I had to use the task manager to forcibly close minecraft but still it took me 15 minutes to get back on track. So, the conclusion? Which is that I beg to microsoft that they make windows 10 lighter and strip out background processes that take up unnecessary ram space. Please, make windows 10 more like windows 7 with a feature update.

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
