Windows 10: windows 10

I upgraded to Windows 10 free from W8indows 7. My HP "Pavilion g" laptop received updates and it worked fine until lately with the last update (about a month a go) it stopped updating at 95%, after 2 days I shut down the machine. Now it is hung up on backing out the updates. How do I get back to windows 10 as it is not backing out the updates?

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
