  1. Windows 10

I have searched the forums and haven't found a case close enough to my question. I have a Windows 10 hard drive which has had a crash. I am to blame for not having a backup. Windows tries to repair itelf but cannot. This was orginally a windows 7 Home Premium of which I still have the 25 character product code for. Question is when it upgraded to Windows 10 the number changed. So can I reload Windows 10 and use the original 25 character code for the installation code in the new windows of a new hard drive? Then I can still pull my files off the old hard drive and reestablish my computer

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .
