I purchased a Samsumg laptop in March with windows 10 pre-installed. Everything was good and then after some recent updates the firewall, MS store and several apps (calculator, camera...etc..) will not work. I have spent several hours on trying to fix a new PC to work properly.

Resetting win 10 just eventually leads me back to this point after sereval hours of reinstalling apps and updates.

Can I just trade win 10 for 7 liscense? Or I will even take 8.1 which has been less of a disappointment than 10.

I have the option to return to win 7, but there is no point to use to do that. I assume that this is something on the Samsung side of things when they built the PC.

I really hate win 10 is there any way for me to not have to pay for a new OS?

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .
