So, I've been trying to update my Win11 PC, but no matter what I've tried it just downloads so slow, any other updates work just fine, but the 2025-03 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based Systems KB5053656 downloads slowly, keep in mind I just fresh installed this Windows 11 installWindows 11 build 26100.2033 24H2

Why would an in-place Upgrade solve this problem? I did all the steps listed here but not the in-place update. The error I see in the Windows update window is "Download error - 0x8024401c" for 2023-03 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5023706). Its been logging this error since 3/17/2023

Note that on 2/15 everything seemed fine:

Successfully Installed on 2/15/2023

2023-02 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 22H2 for x64 (KB5022497)

Mouse Stutter in Windows 11

OK - new Windows update (2025-01 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5050094) and it looks like MS have known about an issue all along! Let's see if it works..

Fixed: The mouse cursor might stutter when it moves across the screen. This occurs even when the system is not using a lot of resources.
