So, I just updated to version 22H2 and there are 2 design tweaks that, in my opinion, made it a lot worse:1 The new Alt+Tab look. It has a very ugly border surrounding the windows. I know it is translucent normally, but in battery saver, it appears as a gray area. Earlier, there was no space surrounding the windows, which gave it a very independent, sleek and stylish look. Now it just looks too ugly. I understand this is for focus and stuff, but would be great if we could disable it in settings, because I have half a mind to revert just due to that.I'd upload a screenshot, but for some reason

    :)

  3. Windows 11: Alt+Tab with multiple Chrome windows open

I have the following windows open in a Windows 11 desktop:

    • 3 Google Chrome windows (one with two tabs)
    • 1 Excel 2010 window (with 3 workbooks open)
    • 1 Windows Explorer window
    • 1 Adobe Acrobat window (1 document tab open)
The focus is on the Excel window.

    I press Alt+Tab.

This brings 1 of the Chrome windows into focus

    I press Alt+Tab.

This should bring the Excel window back into focus?

    It does not!

This brings the 2nd Chrome window into focus.

To get the Excel window back into focus, I have to Alt+Tab 4 times, "past" the 3 Chrome windows and the Acrobat window.

    ****?

Please tell me this is a defect that is going to be fixed soon and not some new behavior?

    alt + tab not working

Just found a really cool way to make alt+tab INSTANT!!!

In the launch options write the following: -windowed -noborder

This play exactly the same as fullscreen but now you dont have to wait 30 f*@!ing seconds to alt+tab back in!

Also you don't get the little purple/black checkered effect (only in Source games) from alt+tabbing in fullscreen.

It doesn’t look like Windows 11 is much faster than Windows 10: The general crappiness of Windows updates is so well-known these days that it has become a bit of a cliched meme.
