    Windows 11 22H2 - Error when editing Policy with GPMC


    When I'm editing Group Policy with GPMC. I'm getting Script Error.How to reproduce the issue?You can edit or create a new Group Policy and just browse into User Configuration/Preferences/Windows Settings/Shortcuts* This is just an example because the error is occurring on almost every setting under PreferencesIs this a bug reported to Microsoft? Is there a fix for this? I saw few users reporting this issue on different sites but nothing directly from Microsoft.

    My Windows 11 Home Edition cannot print on shared printer after the windows update done.

    For Windows 11 Home Edition, try the registry edit (equivalent to the Group Policy setting) mentioned on this page:

    Fix: Printer Error 0x00000bc4 or 0x00000709 in Windows 11 22H2

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows NT\Printers\RPC]

    There are 2 values that can be configured:

    RpcUseNamedPipeProtocol REG_DWORD

    0: RpcOverTcp (default)
    1: RpcOverNamedPipes

    Also, see Eko Suprianto's post here for the additional settings if your Windows 11 22H2 is acting as the host (i.e., print server)

    XMLSerializer error on GPMC in Window10

    Trying to troubleshoot GPO's in GPMC on Window10.

    I created a Group Policy Result and see in the Summary Tab that 4 errors are detected.

    I click the hyperlink and then receive the following error:

    Script Error

    =======

    And error has occurred in the script on this page.

    Error: 'XMLSerializer' is undefined .

    Do you want to continue running scripts on this page. Y/N

    Click either Y/N does nothing and I am not able to see the 4 errors.

    This is a brand new install on Win10.

    How to get the Windows 10 2022 Update version 22H2 Win Update

    If you can't install it from windows update you can try to install it manually, it's the same KB5015684 obtained with windows update.

    Windows 10 Version 22H2 is coming in October 2022 ---> KB5015684 Provides Quick Windows 10 22H2 Upgrade - Ed Tittel On the Ed Tittel page click on the links DeskModder.de or .MSU x64 version of the upgrade.
