Windows 10: Windows 11 22H2 failed to upgrade due to cpuz149_x64.sys

I am trying to upgrade to Windows 11 22H2.After some times restart, my laptop gets a BSOD:SECURE_PCI_CONFIG_SPACE_ACCESS_VOLATIONcpuz149_x64.sysI searched the whole disk, I cannot find any file named cpuz149_x64.sys,even with a Linux Live USB.

Upgrading WIndows 11 22H2 gives error

Hello all

I have been running windows 11 for a while now and I decided to upgrade to windows 11 22H2, even though it will disable my ribbon hack for file explorer.

Does anyone have any suggestions? A search found most of the suggestions for this error involve upgrading from windows 10 not to windows 11 22H2 but I have windows 11 as you see below





When I downloaded and tried to do the update, the upgrade failed and rolled back. I ran setupdiag and it reported this





Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated and Welcomed

Windows Store Missing and Failing After Windows 11 22H2 Update

Hi theTrueEnder,

Open an Admin PowerShell window and type:

• winget install 9WZDNCRFJBMP
  

See if that reinstalls the Store app.

If that doesn't help, please try "Method 2" in this article:

• Reinstall Microsoft Store in Windows 10/11
  

If nothing helps, you may go back to the previous build. To do so, open Windows 11 Settings, click System, click Recovery. Click Go back.

Once rolled back, try upgrading to 22H2 again at a convenient time.

Note: The "Go back" option will cease to exist after 10 days (from the date of the 22H2 upgrade).
