Windows 10: Windows 11 22H2 update: cannot Switch User at login and cannot see Domain user, only local...

Hi,I have two user accounts on my laptop; DOMAIN\first.last and localhost\name and could access both fine on Windows 11. After updating to 22H2 I can only see the locahost user and no longer have the Switch User function at the login page like I normally do. The local user doesn't have admin privileges and the domain admin doesn't allow concurrent logins, which means I can't 'switch user' from a current login but instead I have to log out of the localhost user in order to log into the Domain user. I also can't run any of the suggested RegEdit fixes because I don't have admin privileges.Not

Update Windows 11 cant log in domain user

Hi All

I use a laptop in the company where I use windows 11, to know its stability.
Yesterday, March 28, updating windows 11, it restarts 3 times and then it does not allow me to log in with my domain user or with any other domain user. Local users only..
I take it out of the domain, I go back and put it in, and it still won't let me in.
I had to remove windows and reinstall it.

Right now the same update manages to get to the point of deleting everything again.

NOTE: Im login local user and try to delelte the last update.. and not
HELP

 

Local user disappeared frin login options after upgrade

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, I was unable to fix the issue. Here are my steps:

• I've uninstalled the last 3 updates (the ones from september):
  
  • however, they keep getting reinstalled:
    

• I've added two new users: one from the GUI, the other as you suggested in step 2:
  
  • They are listed under users;
    
• I've also booted in safe mode just to check.
  

I still have no way to login other than with the main account. No local users are available at login or when I go to start menu and click on my user.

Please advise

 

Windows 10 Slow login for domain users

Dear,

I have started to install windows 10 on the laptops in my domain/Organisation. All works fine but there is one issue which is the
domain user login outside our network or other network taking a long time (even after locking the computer) to login while local user logs in quickly. I tried switching between the networks and
our internal network seems fine, but on any other network or outside our organisation is taking a long time to login. Please help to solve this issue.
