Windows 10: Windows 11 22H2 weird icon in Task Manager - Efficiency mode

Hi, I'm using windows 11 version 22H2. I noticed this weird icon for efficiency mode in the task manager. It is different from the official screenshots of from microsoft. Mine only looks like a square or a box. I restarted several times but still no changes. Maybe someone can help. Thanks.

Windows Updates 11 22H2 and internet Efficiancy mode problem!

My internet connection is more then fine ... and i have a strong PC and its not the cuse of the problme.

Tried it before and tired 50 other ways, The efficieny mode keeps coming back after 1-2 min.

its because of the new 22H2 windows update, spoke to 20 people with the same issue aftre the latest windows update to 22H2!

is there away to permanently shut down the EFFICIENY MODE on windows 11 after the 22H2 update?

is there a way to go back to previos version of windows ? becasue i dont have that option after you do that update you cant go back... it says this

option is not available any more..

BTW when i open the task massanger i have an option to use efficieny mode on any app i want, on any internet app i cant use it because it

automatticaly opens. after i open any browser it opens it in efficiency mode i go back to the task massanger and close it and then it comes back again and again and again..

Nothing helps, it keeps coming back it was embedded into the windows setting in the last update..

i will try to explain the problem again, in the latest windows 11 22H2 update they gave us the Efficiency mode..

Now i have the option to activate it on any app i want! and thats ok but its AUTO ACTIVAT it self on any internet browser i use

(FireFox, Edge, Chrome) that means that every time i open a new browser it opens AUTOMATICALY in efficiency mode

i once again go and turn in off in the task manager but sec later it AUTOMATICALY comes back

Doesnt matter if i change Any of the internet app setting

Doesnt help if i put my PC on High preformance

Doesnt help if i open the internet on Administrator mode

Doesnt help if i disabble the efficiency one by one on any browser because it comes back a min later

Tried every solution i found online... Doesnt work

Tried to reinstall all the apps... Doesnt work

Tried to reset my PC my internet.. Doesnt work

Tried Anonymous mode.. Doesnt work

Tried to do recovery... it says i cant

Also tried every thing you said and it didnt help

After installing KB5020044, Task Manager might display certain elements in the user interface (UI) in unexpected colors. On affected devices, Task Manager should function as expected but some parts of the UI might not be readable. You might be affected by this issue if you have "Choose your mode" set to "Custom", in the Personalization -> colors section of Settings. If you are using Dark or Light for the "Choose your mode" setting, you should not be affected by this issue.

Workaround: To mitigate this issue, you can set the "Choose your mode" setting to either Dark or Light until this issue is resolved. To do this, right click or long press on the desktop, select "Personalize", select "Colors", and then select either "Dark" or "Light" for "Choose your mode".

Next steps: We are working on a resolution and will provide an update in an upcoming release.
