    Windows 11 23H2 "Insider" Line Input has a signal on it yet Windows fails to recognize Line...


    I clicked on Add a Device and Windows went into an infinite loop. I really would like to record whatever is arriving on Line Input. You can forget about any desire on my part to record from a microphone.

    GPU-Z what command line parameter ?

    Suggestion: /? (-?) and /help (-help) command-line arguments to show a list of all possible arguments in a small window. *Smile Windows 11 23H2 "Insider" Line Input has a signal on it yet Windows fails to recognize Line... :)

    Windows confuses Line In and Microphone

    Hi ChonTailor,

    Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

    1. Can you please explain more on when you say "now both the Microphone input and the Line In input are being sent to Line In."
    2. When you say "but programs recognize a mix of the two inputs one Line In and silence on Microphone." Do you mean that others are not able to hear?

    Please reply back with more information in order to help you fix the issue
