    Windows 11 23H2 installation fails - Here we go again


    A couple of months ago the community helped me through updating my Lenovo T490 to Windows 11. I'm now going through the process for my wife's Lenovo L15 and encountering similar problems. The update fails, giving the error code 0x8007001f.I have verified the following:All Windows 10 updates are installedAll Lenovo updates done through the Vantage tool drivers, firmware, BIOSUninstalled McAfee AntivirusThe update fails even when run from a clean boot with no external devices connected and no internet connection, using the multimedia creation tool from an attached USB drive.For my T490, the fi

    Cannot install Windows 11 23H2

    The build number 22631.2506 implies the device has been upgraded to 23H2 already.

    Here are the version/build numbers for Windows 11.

    • 22000.xxx is 21H2
    • 22621.xxx is 22H2
    • 22631.xxx is 23H2
    Your system is fully up-to-date. What else you're looking for?

    //I'm going to just assume 23H2 doesn't actually exist yet and count it as vaporware.//

    If your system runs 22H2 and is up-to-date, you can install the tiny enablement package to upgrade to 23H2 quickly.

    Windows Updates failed to instal

    I just did step one and they have just all installed.... thank you so much.... it was quite frustrating having that update window pop up every 5 minutes and failing to instal every time
