Windows 10: Windows 11 23H2 on-screen keyboard not popping up

OS: Windows 11 23H2Computer: Microsoft Surface Go 4Hello,I have setup a tablet in kiosk digital signage mode with Edge as a single app.But when I tap on a text field, the on-screen keyboard does not pop-up.I've searched and read a bit and I understood that Windows 11 has no more tablet mode toggle as there was on Windows 10.And to popup an OSK in Windows 11 you have to click the button in the task bar or do a keyboard shortcut...Do you have any solution for me?Thanks in advance.

Touch keyboard pops up at login

Hi Mon,

The on-screen keyboard pops up on the login screen if the Use On-Screen Keyboard
option is enabled. For us to disable this option, please follow these steps:

• Click on Start.
• Type Ease of Access Center, and then press Enter.
• Click on the Use the computer without a mouse or keyboard link.
• Under Type using a pointing device option, uncheck the
  Use On-Screen Keyboard box.

Cannot install Windows 11 23H2

The build number 22631.2506 implies the device has been upgraded to 23H2 already.

Here are the version/build numbers for Windows 11.

• 22000.xxx is 21H2
  
• 22621.xxx is 22H2
  
• 22631.xxx is 23H2
  

Your system is fully up-to-date. What else you're looking for?

Windows 11 On-Screen Keyboard not working at login

Hi Cristiano,

Thank you for your reply and for the troubleshooting suggestions to try and fix the issue.

In Windows 11 the On-Screen Keyboard is part of Accessibility and I have searched for a way to uninstall / reinstall it but it is not listed under Optional features or Apps. I have run the keyboard troubleshooter but I believe that is checking the physical keyboard and not the On-Screen Keyboard.

I will do a System Restore and see if that fixes the issue.

Would you know the best way to reach out to Microsoft Support for further assistance so it can be escalated to the development team for a fix?
