    Since installing the Windows 11 23H2 KB5033375 on an HP laptop, I have noticed that the Power pane within the Settings app is not tracking/reporting the battery level correctly. Resulting in unexpected system shutdowns. As I am unable to determine the battery level. In addition, the system is not enabling Battery Saver of any warningsI have tested the HP battery using various HP system tools - the Support Assistant, System Diagnostics and the UFEI versions. Nothing is being detected that is wrong with the battery.The laptop using the latest drivers and BIOS. I have checked.I have shut the

    How can I set the battery power level of my laptop running Windows 11, when plugged in, to a specified range (e.g. 40%-80%) in order to extend the battery power life? I could do that in Windows 10. Thanks.

    Battery level issue

    Hi Matt, Go to Control Panel - Power Options Click Power Plan Options on your Current Power Plan Click 'Change Advanced Power Settings In the resulting Dialog at the bottom of the list, expand the 'Batteries' section Change the value for Critical Battery
    Level and Low Battery Level Make sure Low Battery Notification is set to ON

    I understand the issue you have, nothing to worry I am here to help, this is actually an issue with the Battery driver or a hardware-related issue on Battery, and for us to fix the issue, kindly follow the steps below:

    Method 1. Reinstall Battery Drivers:

    -Press the Windows key + X

    -Go to Device Manager

    -Expand the Batteries

    -Right-click then uninstall all drivers there

    -Restart the PC and check it again

    Method 2. Restore default power options

    -Press Windows key + R then type:

    powercfg -restoredefaultschemes

    -Restart PC and check.

    Method 3. Run power, Troubleshooter

    - Press Windows key + R then type:

    msdt.exe /id PowerDiagnostic

    - Click OK then follow the prompts to run the power troubleshooter

    -Restart the device after

    Note: If the issue persists, I suggest contacting a local technician or the retailer to check the device for any hardware-related issues physically.
