Windows 10: Windows 11 24H2 can't install any optional features or language packs

Basically what title says. I tried to install wmic, but got 0x800F0806 error, trying to install language packs does the same. I already triedISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealthsfc /scannowDISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup /ResetBaseDISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:WindowsUpdateWindows updates troubleshootNothing worked

No Features to Install Under Optional Features?

Hello,

Since you are facing issue in installing optional Japanese language pack, I suggest you to install the language pack by following the below steps and check if it helps.

Step 1:

• 
  Press Windows + I keys on the keyboard to open Settings menu.
  
• 
  Click on Time and language in settings window.
  
• 
  Click on Region and language from left navigation pane.
  
• 
  Click on Add a language (+ symbol)
  
• 
  Select Japanese language pack.
  
• 
  Now, click on Japanese language pack
  and click on Set a default button under the
  Region and language from left navigation pane.
  

Step 2:

• 
  Press Windows + X keys on the keyboard, select
  Control panel.
  
• 
  Type Language in the search bar located at the top right corner of Control panel and click on language.
  
• 
  Click on the Japanese language pack
  on the Language window.
  
• 
  Click on Download and install language pack button under
  Japanese language pack.
  
• 
  Enter the administrator password if prompted.
  
• 
  Click on Save button.

How to install a language pack with "text-to-speech, speech recognition, handwriting" features enabled in Windows 10 or 11

How to install particular language (For Ex: Arabic, Italian, Swedish, Spanish etc..) pack in Windows with "text-to-speech, speech recognition, handwriting" features enabled from native language pack list when these options are not enabled for the particular language in native language pack list?

Do we any alternative to enable these features for a language?

If the alternative is present, what is the process for that?

How the provided solution affects existing system?

 

Windows 8.1 update changed the language, can't change back

Maybe, these will help... it seems it is a common enough problem.

Language packs are no longer available after you upgrade to Windows 8.1
