Windows 10: Windows 11 24H2 forced on my laptop by MS, now the cpu is unsupported

Hi All,I have a Dell Latitude 5501 with 9400H CPU, I use it as a freelancer for my job. In last december one morning when I booted it up, it force installed Windows 11 24H2 without my consent had 23H2 before. I thought, OK I can live with that, everything seems to be working fine. Now on the new list of supported Intel CPUs for 24H2 my CPU is not listed https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/minimum/supported/windows-11-24h2-supported-intel-processors.Now what? Will I be able to use my laptop or will it be disabled after some time, or will I receive monthly updates? Can

Not able to upgrade to Windows 11 due to unsupported CPU

Hi Everyone,

I have an AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1900x 8-core CPU. It surpasses all the Windows 11 requirements but My PC health check still shows not able to upgrade due to an unsupported CPU. The PC meets all other requirements

• TPM2.0 enabled
  
• 40GB system RAM
  
• 240 GB SSD
  
• 8 Core

There are no currently listed problems resetting version 24H2 of Windows 11 and no specific steps you need to perform, are you experiencing any problems with that insider build that is causing you to perform a Windows reset?

 

Windows updates for unsupported CPU

Hi! I hope you are having a great day. I have a PC with i7-7700k 4.20GHz, and I know this CPU is unsupported for Windows 11. Will this CPU support further Windows updates after 11? Also, would there be any possibility that the unsupported CPUs can be expanded and be able to install Windows 11?
