Windows 10: Windows 11 24H2 incompatibility with my USB device driver, throwing BSOD

Hello,Latest Windows 11 update 24H2 broke my USB device driver. It work fine for almost 15 years. Seems some additional checks are added to IoBuildPartialMdl. BSOD happen when additional ZLP USB packet must be send to device. So length is set to 0 on purpose. Driver is WDM type based on old Microsoft bulk example.It could be impossible to rebuild driver even if I will know how to fix it, due to old SHA1 driver signature. Also I can't throw away old version of software. Customers use old versions of software, and it must work on new systems. How to handle this? Any help with this? Regards,Sla

DRIVER_OVERRAN_STACK_BUFFER BSOD on Windows 11 24H2

My notebook has BSOD several times since Windows 11 24H2 update with DRIVER_OVERRAN_STACK_BUFFER error. Can someone please analyze the dump file and find out which part of my system cause this BSOD ? 060324-16078-01.zip

 

Windows 11 24H2 USB Audio Issues (timing out)

I have upgraded to Windows 11 24H2 (26100.712) and am having issues with getting my USB Audio systems to stay awake. Whenever there is no sound playing, my USB audio system turns itself off, thinking that there is no power to the USB port that it's connected to.

I've changed the setting in advanced power options to disable selective suspend, but this does not do anything. I've also disabled powering down the drive setting in Device Manager (for USB ports), and still no luck.

My machine is pretty much useless as a work machine now, as my USB audio (Bose Companion 5) system turns off within minutes of no audio, silencing my machine so I'm unable to hear notifications or calls.

This bug has only happened since installing 24H2, I've checked device manager and there seems to have been new drivers installed with this update, so potentially some changes there.
