Windows 10: Windows 11 24H2 Mouse Stuttering Issue

My work PC had it's main SSD corrupted when IT was trying to extend the drive. They swapped SSDs and reinstalled windows for me, fine whatever. It was incredibly frustrating having to reconfigure my development environment, but that all went smoothly. Since this occurred, and I had a fresh install of Windows 11 put on this PC, the mouse has lagged and stuttered constantly, making it near impossible for me to do my job, without getting frustrated and making mistakes because my mouse lags so bad. It's especially bad and noticeable when I click between windows, which I do literally constantly. Ho

Mouse Stutter in Windows 11

OK - new Windows update (2025-01 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5050094) and it looks like MS have known about an issue all along! Let's see if it works..

Fixed: The mouse cursor might stutter when it moves across the screen. This occurs even when the system is not using a lot of resources.
