Windows 10: Windows 11 - 24H2 - WordPad - Will Microsoft add it back

Hi everyone reading this post. I am a WordPad user who needs to use WordPad in Windows 11 to quickly create RTF files and to edit them with ease. I also benefit on using WordPad to create super tiny RTF documents as well as to saving in the .WRI file format extension as well. WordPad has many benefits over these reasons that Microsoft Word does not offer. Also, the good news is that WordPad is free to use and does not need any product key for installation or use.I have requested on the Windows 11 Feedback Hub for Microsoft to permanently keep WordPad for Windows 11 and to keep it updated like

Your suggestions posted here won't reach the product team (any product team) I'd suggest that you use the Feedback Hub that's in Windows 10 & 11.

Hi. I have a message of complaint on the shocking news that I have read today on the link below, that Microsoft is phasing out WordPad. I am not happy at all that Microsoft is planning on removing WordPad, so that is the reason why I am complaining to Microsoft that it is not the right thing to do to remove such an important application like WordPad.

I am urging Microsoft to permanently keep WordPad in Windows 11 - Build 24H2, and beyond, because I need this application to create documents in the RTF file format, which benefits me for quick access to a free and basic, lightweight application that allows me and other users to create documents quickly, on-the-fly, respectively by using Rich Text Format. WordPad also benefits excellently on keeping file size down to super small and easily portable at the same time.

My best alternative that I have for Microsoft is to update and improve WordPad by keeping it up to date reflecting Windows 11's modern technologies, just like Microsoft did in the recent past with Windows 10's, and Windows 11 Notepad application. WordPad can also sport the ability to create documents in the .doc and .wri file extensions and those could be better integrated into WordPad when saving documents, as well as its default .RTF file extension.

With all the above being said, please choose to permanently keep WordPad in Windows 11 and beyond, on my behalf and other users needs for this application as well. Please notify Microsoft by email, letter, or social media so that they can change their minds on this controversy and decide to permanently keep WordPad in Windows 11 for good.

Please keep in mind that not every Windows 11 user in the world like Microsoft Word, or even want to use it. So with that statement being said, it is a good idea to always keep WordPad in Windows 11 for those users who are fans of the WordPad application, as well as enjoying some old-school-timers of nostalgic moments of the WordPad application.
