Windows 10: Windows 11 - 5, 6, and some F keys are not working.

Some of my keys haven't been working since January 2025. I use my numpad to type when logging in my device and I'm afraid it might stop working as well and I'd get locked out of my device. My friend is experiencing the same thing but different keys since January and we both have Windows 11. Both of our devices are laptops, mine is a Lenovo Legion 5 and my friend's is an Asus TUF Gaming F15. I already tried scanning my drivers, checking for updates and deleting my keyboard drivers, and editing the registry value of my i8042prt to 1. None of these methods worked. Only Number Keys 5 and 6 Working In Row of Number Keys

All of the number keys on my keyboard, other than the numpad, which still works fine for some reason, won't work except numbers 5 and 6. This is also the same with the symbols for each key, only the symbols corresponding to 5 and 6 work. I don't really understand why this happened? I looked it up and it seems to be a reoccurring problem for some people, and I've tried some of the suggestions on various forums such as: updating my keyboard driver, reinstalling my keyboard driver, holding fn/windows key + alt + ctrl, as well as pressing the keys that don't work and holding them down in various formations.
I would really love some help with this, as it's pretty annoying to have to use the keypad and not be able to use various symbols like parentheses and exclamation marks.

Laptop number keys 12347890 dont work only 5 and 6 do

I am on windows 11 on a ThinkPad x250 and only number keys 5 and 6 work. I have tried pressing the ctrl alt and super keys and it didn't work. please help as this effects my school work.

In my windows 10 , only number keys( except 5 and 6 )are not working. Done all circus mentioned below available in blogs , KBS. Nothing worked. To precise all keys in the key board except 5 and 6 are working. 1,2,3,4,7,9,0 are not working

It looks this this issue is there since long and no proper solutions yet from microsoft. Please help me to resolve this.
