  1. Windows 11 64GB RAM, all available, but only using maximum 47% and it crashes and send...

Recently, I upgraded my laptop to a newer version that could handle more RAM. I tend to open a lot of tabs on my browsers, which caused my old laptop to crash frequently. Before upgrading, I tried different browsers, but they all resulted in reaching 98% memory usage on task manager. Unfortunately, I lost some of my work due to these crashes. Therefore, I decided to install 64GB of RAM on my new laptop. However, I noticed that once it reaches 48% memory usage, my computer starts to slow down, task manager letters change the font, and it eventually crashes. Even after restarting and saving ever

What's the maximum RAM support for Windows 10 Home Edition and Professional OS

I want to know the maximum RAM capacity support for both Windows 10 Home Edition and Professional. If I'm using 64GB RAM, do I need to buy Windows 10 Professional version?

Windows shows 8GB RAM installed but 4GB RAM is usable

    Hi There,

I've just upgraded my pc from 4GB RAM to 8GB RAM. Windows seems to have detected this upgrade but why does it show as only 4GB RAM available. The following is what I have tried so far with no luck:

    • I have tried the msconfig method on ensuring maximum memory is not checked.
    • physically removed the new RAM and reinstalled it
Any thoughts/suggestions on how i can resolve this matter?

    Thanks

Windows 11 Pro 21H2 not using all available ram

I have a desktop computer that has 32gb ram, and had worked without issue on windows 10 pro, but ever since I upgraded to windows 11 pro it just shows it as "32,0 GB (15,9 GB usable)".

So it can clearly see that there is 32gb of ram (2x16gb sticks), but for some odd reason it is not able to use them all.

    1. I've updated the bios to one that has windows 11 support, Motherboard is MSI X570 GAMING EDGE WIFI (MS-7C37), and now runs 7C37v1G version of the bios which lists windows 11 support.
    2. I've tried the msconfig change to sex maximum memory, it also properly detects and fills out the full size, but after hitting OK in the window, it gets reset to 0, both before and after reboot it stays at 0.
    3. I have tried running windows 10 pro again to see if the windows 11 pro upgrade damaged the ram, windows 10 pro still sees and has all 32gb available for use.
    4. I have remove and re-seated all ram to ensure there wasn't any loose connections
    5. I have confirmed the correct memory slots are used on the motherboard
    6. I have tested with different ram sticks
So far nothing has solved the issue, I've also had a phonecall with microsoft support, they were also unable to fix it and seemed more confused on how to use a computer and understanding the problem than actually fixing it.

Can I please get an actual fix for this? I do not know why windows 11 pro doesn't make all ram available for use, but it's clearly something wrong in it when there are zero issues in windows 10 pro.
