Windows 10: Windows 11 7th generation processor

Hi Community,I have a question in relation to conflicting information. Some websites are stating my processor is accepted by Windows 11 and others are not.Can I get clarity on this.Processor 7th gen i7-8550u.Many thanksPhil.

You're asking the wrong question, my friend. The correct question is: Why doesn't the Intel Core i3 7th gen processor support Windows 11? And the answer is: Because it lacks hardware features needed to run Windows 11 without crashing.

Yes, you clicked on the Windows 10 list instead of Windows 11. The minimum Intel processor is Core 8th generation. Yours is 7th generation.
