Hello ! I just purchase a new computer with Windows 11 that I only use to play games. I installed the sims 2 double deluxe and when a start the game, I get the following message : "A required security module cannot be activated. This program cannot be executed 8016.". I thought the problem came from the game but a friend who has windows 11 too and installed all of my sims 2 games on it, does not have this problem. I am not a computer expert so if someone can help me please. Thank you so much :

I just purchase a new pc. Wanted to upgrade and with it came Windows 10. I am trying to play all or just any of my first person shooter games and I get the following: "A required security module cannot be activated. This program cannot be executed (8016).
I am not a pc whiz so if anyone can help me I would appreciate. I know all my games ran on Windows 7. It will stink if I have to pay to go back to that. I believe Microsoft does not care about the people who have paid many dollars on games and not cannot
play them. Shame on you Microsoft!!!
