Windows 10: Windows 11 AD Logon issue - Options flash on and off

Hello,Trying to diagnose a Windows 11 Active Directory Logon issue. When booting up a Windows 11 system, I require the ability to log on with a company smart card. The log on page will display the options area, and then stop displaying the options area rapidly for 30 seconds or so before stabilizing and showing the options so I can log on.This behavior displays during most boot ups and system locks when trying to unlock the system.Any suggestions?

To help you out with your concern, we suggest that you disable the add-ons in Internet Explorer 11. For step by step instructions, go to this

link, then look for the title Turning off and removing add-ons.

We also suggest that you reset Internet Explorer 11 through these steps:

• Go to Internet Explorer then click the Gear icon.
• Choose Internet options > Advanced.
• Click Reset.

(Note: If you have added Favorites, back up them first before resetting the browser. )

Logon intermittently bypasses Windows Hello Fingerprint

Hello Mosken,

When I didn't hear back from you I went ahead and re-set my Windows Hello Fingerprint. Three logons (with shutdowns in between) worked perfectly yesterday. But the first logon for today it was back to its old intermittent self to bypass Windows Hello and go straight to the desktop, with no security.

So, just like all the other 'fixes' I've tried over the past 2+ weeks, your four steps can be added to the list of all the things that don't work for this Windows Hello intermittent bypass and proceed straight to Windows Desktop issue.

Any other suggestions?

• Are you facing the issue on all the web browsers?
• Do you receive any error code or message?

Adobe flash player comes embedded in Microsoft Edge. You don’t need to install it separately. You can try enabling and Testing it again following the steps provided in the below link.

The player gets updated with Windows Updates. I suggest you to login to a Microsoft user account, and try installing all pending updates on the system and restart to check if the issue persists. In case you are facing the issue
on Microsoft edge, try resetting the browser. Refer the steps below to reset Edge.

Steps to Reset Edge:-

• First of all launch Microsoft Edge Browser.
• After that click on “More action” option which is visible at top right side of the browser and you will see “Settings” option.
• Under “Settings” scroll down and you will see a button “Choose what to clear” under “Clear browsing data” option.
• Once you click on this option you will see list of feature like
  • Browsing History
  • Cookies and saved website data
  • Cached data and file
  • Download history
  • Form data
  • Password.

If the issue is specific to Internet Explorer, download the latest flash player and try resetting using the steps in the link below and check the status of the issue.
