Windows 10: Windows 11 Administrator

When I bought a new pc a while back, I had alot of problems. The windows I had on a USB was old and I got corrupted files and so on. I finaly decided on getting Windows 11. But I still had problems and I had to get full admin access somehow, through booting in safe mode or something, I dont remember exactly how I did. But the problem I have almost a year later is that, I have full admin access on everything, every file, program and game is opened in admin mode. I dont want to do that for several reasons, I want it to ask if it needs admin access. Do I have to reinstall windows and remove all m

Hi,

Open a Command Prompt window and run:

• net localgroup administrators
  

Please post the output/screenshot here.

Meanwhile, restart Windows in Safe mode and login to the built-in Administrator account (it has a blank password by default). Once logged in, perform the steps in "Solution 3" (fixing the Group Membership) you tried earlier. REF: Lost Administrator Rights in Windows 10/11?

 

Change of administrator on Windows 11

Hi,

I am planning to change my administrator account to a new Microsoft account on Windows 11. I am confident on technical steps but I have a question on consequences. What I mean by that is: when I change my administrator account,

• do I lose some data?
  
• Can I access the data from the previous admin user folder? etc.
  

May I request you to help me with the points where it could go wrong and lose my data or access to the data please? Thanks in advance.

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
