Windows 10: Windows 11 - all text on screen turns sort of turquoise

The text in a lot of apps, File Explorer, etc. turns a sort of turquoise. I think it's a bit dependent on the Windows background I'm using, but this was never an issue in W7 or W8.Any suggestions

Blank dark turquoise green sign out screen

My tool bar froze -totally unresponsive. So I clicked on the main screen and clicked on sign out. A dark turquoise green screen appeared with a message signing out with circle going round. After ten minutes of this I tried turning the laptop off. Signing out message disappeared leaving the blank screen same colour. Left it on all night but no change. Any advice on how I overcome this and restore Windows screen? Not sure if it is Windows 10 or 11. Laptop 5 years old.

 

Faded text on start screen and apps.

Thank you for posting back with the details.

I suggest that you launch the ClearType text tuner and adjust the display.

To run this command please refer the following TechNet article and follow the suggestions.

• To get to the ClearType take an entry to the
  Control Panel and select the Display option.
• On the right pane of the Display window click on
  Adjust ClearType Text link.
• A ClearType Text Tuner window will appear on your screen. Select the
  checkbox Turn on ClearType and click
  Next button to go to the next step
• After turning on the ClearType
  Text Tuner, you will see five windows exhibiting the samples of the text that you wish to set.
• So click Next on the following five sample windows by selecting your required text type.

Turning on predictive text

• Go to Settings.
• Tap on Time & language.
• Tap Keyboard.
• Tap on the language that you wanted to change the setting.
• Tap on the check box for Suggest text.
